The boys played a lot of talented and athletic teams.
They did a great job and we are very proud of them.
They finished in 16th place out of 96 teams that made it to nationals in the
13 under/7th grade divison.

Arlington Swoosh
On behalf of Arlington Swoosh Organization, thank you for your time, dedication, and generous commitments to help support training, practices, and tournaments.
Due to the success of our Organization, the invitations to participate in tournaments have increased. Travel expenses next year will potentially include the team’s National appearances in Primetime, AAU, Maybee, and Taft National Championships. The financial support from parents and others, allows Arlington Swoosh to train, encourage, and provide basketball resources to our team. All board members and team Mom’s will meet to discuss and plan next years schedule in advance. Please keep in mind, Arlington Swoosh is a 501 c (3) NON-PROFIT organization. All fees are used to operate the organization and the organization depends on monthly dues, fundraising opportunities, and sponsors to offset total operating cost.
Arlington Swoosh Organization is committed to having elite high quality boys/girls teams. To surpass the competition in the upcoming season, we have determined that skills’ training is essential for all team members during our off season. Starting in September, the Organization will provide skills training on Sunday afternoons at Metro Christian Academy. The cost will be $150.00 per player. The cost will consist of all the gym fees (September to the second week in November) an hour skill training session conducted by Coach Kenny Gardner Jr. The schedule for skills training is as follows:
Swoosh Black 4:00 pm
Swoosh Red 5:00 pm
7th/8th graders 6:00 pm
9th-12th graders 7:00 pm
Try-outs for the teams will be conducted at the beginning of the 2011 season. Once the teams have been established, we will not be accepting new players.
